In 2003, The Ellman Companies completed construction of the $213 million Glendale Arena, now named Arena, in Glendale, Arizona. The 17,799–seat, multi–purpose venue anchors the Company’s flagship development, Westgate City Center™.

The Arena is the first of its kind to be built in less than 18 months and has become the catalyst establishing Glendale as Arizona’s premier sporting events and entertainment destination. The NFL Arizona Cardinals have subsequently constructed their stadium directly adjacent to Westgate™, on 225 acres of land that Ellman sold to the State of Arizona Tourism Authority. Located just a few miles away, the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers have completed new Spring Training facilities crediting the City’s incredible sporting and events dynamic. Arena is home to the NHL Phoenix Coyotes, A–list concerts (Prince, U2, Rolling Stones, Britney Spears), family shows, major touring events and was home to the National Lacrosse League’s Arizona Sting from 2004 to 2007.

The Ellman Companies designed and built the 660,000–square–foot, $213 million, state–of–the–art Arena. The facility boasts all digital scoreboards, clocks and advertising panels, as well as unobstructed theater–style seating. It was designated "The Best New Music Venue in North America," and in 2005 under Ellman’s leadership, the Arena was named "The 18th Busiest Music Venue in the World." There are 87 Luxury Suites at Arena, including two Luxury Tower Suites and 12 Luxury Party Suites. In addition, the Club Suites level consists of approximately 400 upscale seats with unique club and dining opportunities as well a Club Suites section located directly behind the Coyotes and visiting team player benches offering guests an up–close–and–personal experience combined with first–class hospitality services.
