ARIZONA STING - NLL LACROSSE FRANCHISE

GLENDALE, ARIZONA

In 2003, Ellman acquired the Columbus Land Sharks, a National Lacrosse League Franchise, which was relocated to Glendale, Arizona and renamed the Arizona Sting. Ellman served as Governor and CEO of the NLL Sting franchise from 2003 to 2006.

While under Ellman’s leadership, in 2005 the Sting defeated the 2004 NLL champion Calgary Roughnecks to win the franchise’s first-ever West Division Title.
